Attending a Disabled Inclusion Course

We at Thrills and Skills For Life are 100 percent signed up to the everybody's welcome club. So Recently Chris attended the Disabled Inclusion Course run in County Durham. It covered all aspects of how to make games more inclusive for all people both with disabilities and those who do not have any. It was a clever course as it really did show you how you can run a series of sports games and ensure all people find it difficult and taxing. Its not too easy or too hard for anyone.

Sometimes this involves just changing the size of the ball or the shape! Basketball can have a different sized ball and a circle of 2 metres round certain players and you may find the game looks like any other but is totally inclusive!

Thrills and Skills for Life intend to ensure we cater wherever we can for disabled people and already work with different groups providing cycling for disabled groups throughout Durham, via NHS Get Active.
