Adventure day at Aughil Castle
AUGHIL CASTLE fun day in aid of the Calvert Trust which provides opportunities for disabled people. Thrills and Skills for Life provided absailing and chariot racing and leadership tasks for the day, free of charge and over 40 people took the opportunity to absail down the tower. Seen here tested by Chris Hall. Over 50 people took part in the leadership tasks and everybody hugely enjoyed the tasks. In the words of the Organisers Simon and Wendy Bennett the owners of the castle "the absail was the jewel in the event crown". Their son who took 4 attempts to attempt the absail described it as the "most awesome thing he had ever done"
